The 13th Annual For Kids' Sake Art Auction is Open!
At the Longbranch Coffeehouse
Carbondale - The 13th Annual For Kids' Sake Art Auction is now available for viewing and bidding! Shema Ruperto, the For Kids' Sake Director commented, "This year's art auction is truly an artistic masterpiece! Out of hundreds of pieces of art, we chose the top 170 to hang on the wall. We're hoping the quality of the show this year will attract more bidders to the event, which means more money to send to our kids in Bangladesh." The Show is up at the Longbranch Coffeehouse, 100 East Jackson Street in Carbondale. And will culminate in a Closing Reception Saturday, May 4 at 5:30pm with live music, hors d'oeuvres, and a Young Artist Ceremony.
We invite the media to come to the Longbranch this Sunday, April 7, 2:00 - 4:00pm.
The For Kids' Sake Art Auction Team will be available to give you a personal tour of the show
and tell you about the young artists behind the work.
In addition to the Bangladeshi student art, we chose art from students at the following local schools:

Brehm Preparatory School
Kids' Korner
SIU Rainbow's End
Anna Junior High
Herrin Middle School
Herrin High School
Johnston City High School
