Artwork
submitted to this show should reference spring type subjects such as but not
limited to subjects such as flowers, landscapes, animals, spring events, or other
references. No completion date is specified although artwork must be original
and created by the exhibitor. Sorry, no nudes.
Eligibility & Requirements
This
exhibit is open to all members of the Tri-State Art Guild in all mediums
including 2D hangings, sculpture, 3D and photography. New members may enter by
submitting membership dues below.
We are using the small gallery so wall art may be
no larger than 36"horizontal x 40" vertical to allow as many as
possible to fit in the space. Please notify
by email if 3D work requires a special display case (other than the permanent cases) for
protection.
All work must be the entrant's ORIGINAL work. NO PRINTS except
photography entries allowed.
Proper
presentation is a must! Hanging work must be DRY, framed, wired on back and able
to hang on display rods to be accepted into this exhibit. "Thick Gallery
Wrap" canvas (no staples on sides) does not have to be framed but
must be painted on the edges. Paper artwork must be covered with glass or
plexi.
No
saw tooth hangers please! They will not fit on the hanging rods. Pieces too
small to hang on rods will be placed on easels in display cases.
Insurance
Artists
are responsible for insuring artwork.
Commission
Sales
will be processed through the gift shop. A 10% commission will be taken
by the Angel Mounds gift shop on all work sold in this exhibit. Price
accordingly! Entries
without price reference will be displayed as “NFS” or Not for Sale.
All artwork must remain on
display for the duration of the exhibit unless sold. The Tri-State Art
Guild and Angel Mounds reserve the right to refuse artwork considered
inappropriate for display.
