Ray and Rose Hogan, owners of the Old Feed Store in Cobden, have completed another phase of the project with exception results. The winding staircase to the second floor has been refurbished and newly installed skylight illuminates both floors.
The second floor will house art exhibits and provide room for regional artists who wish to demonstrate their work or hold classes. Area musicians will also have more room to perform in the Old Feed Store.The Hogans are planning to combine the talents of visual and performing artists during a once-a-month Sunday afternoon music and art series, and will also offer their venue to artists who wish to set up their booths during Union County Colorfest weekend October 13-14 and the Christmas in Cobden event the first weekend in December.
