INTERESTED IN TAKING ART CLASSES THIS FALL?   The following information is from LEAA's Missy Carstens about her art classes: 
Here is the schedule I have planned and more information on the classes.

 1.       All classes will be held at my home studio, which is located just a couple of miles southeast of Marion. When you contact me to sign up for classes, I will e-mail you my address and directions.
2.       All classes will be held from 4-5 during the week. I may have a couple of private lesson slots open at other times.
3.       Class size will be limited, so I suggest you register early. I have a tiered fee schedule. Private lessons (1 student) are $15+ per hour, 2 students $12 each, 3-4 students $8 each, and 5-10 students are $7 each.
4.       Class 1, ages 4-7, will meet Mondays from 4-5 on Sept. 10, 17, 24, Oct. 1, and 8. The fee will be $35, which includes supplies. If your student has some supplies he/she would like to bring, I’m usually fine with that.
5.       Class 2, ages 8-11, will meet Tuesdays from 4-5 on Sept. 11, 18, 25, Oct. 2, and 9. The fee will be $35, which includes supplies. If your student has some supplies he/she would like to bring, I’m usually fine with that.
6.       Classes 1 and 2 will learn about art history and some of the masters of that historical period, with a corresponding fun and educational art project. I envision a little bit of history and lots of art!
7.       Class 3, ages 12 and up, will meet Fridays from 4-5 on Sept 14, 21, 28, Oct. 5 and 12. This will be an acrylic painting class. Adult students are more than welcome also in this class! The fee is $35, which includes use of all supplies EXCEPT canvas. Students will need to provide canvas of their choice of size and style. I will provide some guidance as to subject matter, but students are free to choose subjects for paintings (family friendly, of course!!!).
8.       If classes fill up, I will create a class on Wednesdays from 4-5, or I may reserve that spot for private lessons. ALSO, if you have siblings or friends whose ages don’t quite fit into 1 class, and you only want to come to my place once a week, I’m pretty flexible on the class ages.
9.       This semester, classes will available first come, first served. If you are already taking lessons from me, you have top priority with spaces already reserved. Please contact me to enroll your student, I will send you out a registration form by e-mail or snail mail. Please fill out the form and return it to me, along with your tuition payment. I will not be able to take Visa, Mastercard, or debit card this year. PLEASE make checks out to me, Missy Carstens. And if you want to pay in cash, do not send it through the mail. Feel free to drop off your form and payment at my house, just let me know you are coming! 10.   I’m registering students now through Sept 7. If I get less than less than 5 students in a class, tuition will be based on the tiered fee schedule above. If I have to charge more than $35 per session, you can pay the additional tuition the first day of class.
